The Gleadless Valley Edbile Map Project is a collective effort between Gleadless Valley Community Action Group & Gleadless Valley Wildlife Trust.  The map highlights selected edible fruit and vegetation in and around our local area.  Please use the adjoining map to navagate around and see the abundance of wild and free produce growing around us.

 

Paths giving access to the fruiting bushes and trees are shown. Zoom in to see the locations for collecting the fruits in more detail, click on the symbols for details of the best times to collect the produce.

 

The data collected has been added to the existing 'Wild & Free' Google map, and will also be submitted to the global, falling fruit map @ http://fallingfruit.org/
